LORDI: Attack of the Rock-N-Roll Monster Men!
Winners of the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest, metal monsters LORDI are Finland's thematic answer to GWAR. The band looks awesome and the metal they bring is surprisingly accessible to the mainstream. I expected them to sound a lot heavier looking like that, LOL, but am grateful I can actually understand the lyrics and not get a headache (much like their fellow Finns, symphonic metal band NIGHTWISH).LORDI won the Eurovision contest with "Hard Rock Hallejuah". Their website has three music videos you can watch online: "Devil Is A Loser", "Would You Love A Monster Man?" and "Blood Red Sandman."
Signed with Sony, expect LORDI to bring the "Arockalypse" to America soon! Import CDs are available through Amazon.

Hee, hee! That was the fastest anybody ever commented on my blog, LOL. That post was up maybe 5 minutes before it got a comment!
I went to the crappy Eurovision website and listened to 80% of the bands. They sucked. Lordi just had to win, looking like that and sounding so polished... Now, don't get me wrong: I'm not saying the lyrics are the most clever, LOL, for example: "The Devil is a Loser and He's my Bitch!", but I predict they'll sell a lot of CDs.
